So I got user of the day! Almost exactly 5 years after I joined this site too! (2nd screenshot taken yesterday)
I wasn't going to make a newspost originally, but that's 2 things to celebrate so close together I had to say something.
I didn't really use this site when I was a kid, but I did stumble onto its user's cartoons on Youtube, and games on other sites. Fast forward to a while ago; I saw a video about Newgrounds, and I was inspired by how free and non-corporate it was. A guy made this site for the sole purpose of sharing content. Not after our data, or necessarily our money. So about a year after that when I was confident in my art, I decided to post it here. I'd call this my first online debut for art sharing (Facebook didn't count, and Miiverse definitely doesn't lol).
And here I am today, still uploading, still growing. I even got supporter recently cause this site is that good. I wanna say thank you for checking out my stuff, for the reviews, and for following me. It's a great feeling having people see and enjoy what you make. Please keep looking at my stuff, new and old. Hell, look at my favorites. Happy 5 years to me, and here's to at least 5 more to come! ✊🏽
